These brackets come in a variety of steel thickness's. Please note that you need to consult your design specialist to see what thickness is right for you. As a general rule, the 14 gauge is good for aesthetic appearance, 12 gauge is close to 1/8" steel and will add a little more rigidity for most projects. If you are needing a heavier steel for extreme load bearing purposes we offer 1/4" thick brackets.
