Angled Joist Hangers (Saddle Brackets) - True Sizes

This joist hanger is a great supporting bracket for your joists. It also can add a decorative touch to any joist ends. Made from Heavy Duty 12-gauge steel and finished in a super tough baked on powder coat finish with UV inhibitors that will not fade over time like most other paints. True sized Joist hangers are typically used on rough cut lumber or some hardwood lumber boards.  Most boards from the hardware store are nominal sized.  Which means if you  buy a 2x6 from the lumberyard it typically comes in a dimension as 1-9/16x5-1/2" so please measure your post first to confirm before ordering these as they are all made to order and considered custom.

These are designed to fit an 2x(4,5,6...)" nominal sized board with a 1/2" gap at the top to allow for board shrinkage,  If you have a different sized beam or angle and need a custom bracket like this, contact us on our "contact us" page and we can quote you.

The holes in the bracket are sized for a 5/16" bolt, and the inside angle holes are slotted so as to screw in a wood screw at an angle.
