Finial Size - Height- 5" x Width - 3.25" - The height is measured from the top of the post cap to the top of the finial. The width is just the finial itself.

Post Cap Fitment - The post cap is made to fit a nominal 4x4 post (This is 3-1/2" actual size post) - For more information about fitment and installation please see the "Post Cap Install Instructions for Wood Post" in the INFO tab of our website. - Each cap comes standard with two matching screws to affix your post cap to your post.

Each post cap is made to order in our Madison, Indiana Shop. We love creating these uniquely exquisite post toppers that add a touch of wrought iron look to your wood fence post, mailbox post, sign post... The options are endless. We are a Veteran owned family business and thank you for your business and support.

We make our products to your order due to the variety of colors and options that we offer. It typically only takes about 1 week to make and ship your order from our shop in Madison, Indiana.

Our post caps are made from American sourced steel and painted with a thick layer of powder coat paint to help prevent rust!

Each cap weights about 1 pound, which is much heavier than most post caps on the market. This is because ours are made with thick and strong metal, not cheap imported metal.

Many reasons! Post caps keep your post looking nice and new for longer by preventing water and insects from tearing up the top of the posts. Posts normally start to deminish from the top and work its way down the post. Posts and fences are expensive to replace and a pain, so why not protect them?

Also, our post caps add a decorative touch to your home. (P.S., we know that lighted caps look very nice at night but they never last and are very expensive. We made our caps look more neat and last longer!)

Because we have a large variety of products, your order is 'made to order'. It takes about 3-5 days to make and ship your order and shipping usually takes around 3 days.
