I used epoxy to mount them. Vinegar, salt, & Hydrogen peroxide to rust them.

Este soporte doble en L de 90 grados es ideal no solo para sujetar sus proyectos de madera, sino también para añadir un toque decorativo. Fabricado en acero calibre 12 y con un acabado de pintura en polvo horneada ultrarresistente con inhibidores de rayos UV que no se decolora con el tiempo como la mayoría de las pinturas. Very high quality! The only problem was that these caps were too small for my nominal 6x6 posts, by about an eighth of an inch all around. Haven’t quite figured out how I’m going to take that much wood off the posts to make these caps fit, but I will find a way, I love these caps!

Loved the caps! It was very hard to get them to fit on the 5.5x5.5 posts. Took a lot of routering and rasping for my husband to get to fit. Would have been easier if slightly bigger. Our posts were exactly5.5 x5.5. They are exactly what I wanted.
