This T bracket is great for not only helping to support your wood projects, but also adding a decorative touch. Made from either 12 gauge or 1/4" steel. For more aesthetic purposes 12ga is fine, if you are wanting it to be more of a heavy duty supporting member 1/4" would be your better option. Finished in a super tough baked on powder coat finish with UV inhibitors that will not fade over time like most other paints. Our brackets are made to order, that is why we are able to offer a wide variety of colors and size options. If you have specific bracket needs let us know and we can help.
- T bracket traditionally used for 8" cross beam and a 6" support post
- Finished in a super tough UV-resistant baked on powder coat matte black paint rated for outdoor use, unless bare metal option is chosen.
- Your choice of either lighter 12ga steel or 1/4" steel
- Holes large enough for 1/2" Lags - sold separately - If you need a different hole size please let us know and we can accommodate.

Love the product, the caps, if you order correctly, you will find that you will need to do some hand work on you're 6x6 pressure treated posts --- the caps are rounded on the corners. I ended up needing to router the tops on each post. That being said, the product is excellent -- You will need to take a look at the company YOUTUBE cap explanation --- it will come in handy, and will prepare you for when the caps arrive -- when my caps arrived -- I thought I ordered the wrong product -- which was alarming -- because each product is made to order -- and not exchangeable or refundable -- That being said, the good people at Madison emailed me this youtube video --- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxhKteKiQts After some research and work on my part -- the caps fit really good and tight -- I haven't installed the roping as of yet. We are pleased with my design, and Madisons high end product works perfectly with our vision !

It looks great and well made. I have to wait until spring to really use it. I did put it on the outside post loved the look it gives the post. I have lights on the other post but one didn’t fit on the one closest to the house this crab makes a finished look. Would recommend it

I ordered some hummingbird post caps and plain post caps in the same color - navy blue. The hummingbird caps will look great in my pollinator garden - and the plain ones will be used to cap off the posts for my sailcloth canopy. I know that these are unique products - both high quality and in a variety of designs to complement different landscapes while actually protecting the tops of my 4x4 posts. I also appreciate the fact that coordinating screws are provided.
