Transition T Bracket for 4"-12" Beam and 4"-12" Vertical Post - Nominal Sized Lumber
This T bracket is great for not only helping to support your wood projects, but also adding a decorative touch. Made from either 12 gauge or 1/4" steel. For more aesthetic purposes 12ga is fine, if you are wanting it to be more of a heavy-duty supporting member 1/4" would be your better option. Finished in a super tough baked on powder coat finish with UV inhibitors that will not fade over time like most other paints. Our brackets are made to order, that is why we are able to offer a wide variety of colors and size options. If you have specific bracket needs let us know and we can help.
- T bracket sizes range for 4",6",8", 10" and 12" beams and posts
- Finished in a super tough UV-resistant baked on powder coat matte black paint rated for outdoor use, unless bare metal option is chosen.
- Your choice of either lighter 12ga steel or 1/4" steel
- Holes large enough for 1/2" Lags - sold separately - If you need a different hole size please let us know and we can accommodate.

Very happy. Heavy duty and a nice tight fit when I followed the instructions.
I used epoxy to mount them. Vinegar, salt, & Hydrogen peroxide to rust them.
The caps complemented the post very nicely.

Very high quality! The only problem was that these caps were too small for my nominal 6x6 posts, by about an eighth of an inch all around. Haven’t quite figured out how I’m going to take that much wood off the posts to make these caps fit, but I will find a way, I love these caps!
