True 4x4 Pyramid Style Post Cap
- Fits 4x4 actual size post. Post caps actual size are slightly larger to accommodate mill tolerances, excess paint... on steel post - the opening under the cap is anywhere between 4-1/16 and 4-1/4"
- Pyramid style cast iron - Being a cast iron cap instead of steel means this cap had a rougher texture than steel caps and sometimes have flashing marks. This is part of the casting process so please be aware of this when ordering. This is not a reason for return or discount due to this.
- Finished in a variety of colors in a high-quality powder coat paint with UV inhibitors to prevent fading. - Please be aware that if you order bare metal but include the zinc coating it will no be bare metal, but bare metal with a powder coat zinc applied
- We offer a zinc powder coat under coat if you live in coastal areas or a high traffic area and you need the extra rust resistance. - please be aware if you order the bare-metal finish with zinc it will come with a grey looking powder coat finish. This is best if you are wanting to paint them yourself but want some rust protection.
- Post Caps Do Not come with pre-dilled Holes. Easy installation with epoxy/Construction adhesive.
- These have a tighter corner than our steel post caps which makes them ideal to use with a post that has very square ends.

Nice craftsmanship
Gorgeous addition to our deck! Love it!
Love the product, the caps, if you order correctly, you will find that you will need to do some hand work on you're 6x6 pressure treated posts --- the caps are rounded on the corners. I ended up needing to router the tops on each post. That being said, the product is excellent -- You will need to take a look at the company YOUTUBE cap explanation --- it will come in handy, and will prepare you for when the caps arrive -- when my caps arrived -- I thought I ordered the wrong product -- which was alarming -- because each product is made to order -- and not exchangeable or refundable -- That being said, the good people at Madison emailed me this youtube video --- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxhKteKiQts After some research and work on my part -- the caps fit really good and tight -- I haven't installed the roping as of yet. We are pleased with my design, and Madisons high end product works perfectly with our vision !
Seashell Nautical Rope Ring, Light Strand Holder (3 sizes available)
Madison Iron manufactured custom truss brackets for my project. The quality of the parts is excellent and their service was excellent as well. Custom products are hard since issues often come up that need to be resolved. We ran into one such issue and Madison was quick to work with me to figure things out. I recommend Madison over Simpson!

It looks great and well made. I have to wait until spring to really use it. I did put it on the outside post loved the look it gives the post. I have lights on the other post but one didn’t fit on the one closest to the house this crab makes a finished look. Would recommend it
Very well crafted and the powder coating makes my eagle mailbox post decorative addition look amazing. I'm proud to have it enhancing the overall appearance of my mailbox. Thank you Madison Iron & Wood!

Absolutely love these post caps. The quality and workmanship is outstanding. The instructions provided were extremely helpful as we installed these on older posts and after following the instructions they fit perfectly. Would definitely purchase from these folks again. Definitely recommend to others. A 5 star experience from start to finish.
Great
My husband and I are very pleased with the Squirrel post caps. They really enhance our back deck; they look really classy. And, the workmanship is excellent! Rebecca W.
Beautiful panels! Great communication. Thanks so much.
I ordered some hummingbird post caps and plain post caps in the same color - navy blue. The hummingbird caps will look great in my pollinator garden - and the plain ones will be used to cap off the posts for my sailcloth canopy. I know that these are unique products - both high quality and in a variety of designs to complement different landscapes while actually protecting the tops of my 4x4 posts. I also appreciate the fact that coordinating screws are provided.
The product is well made and the ordering process was easy. We will certainly consider using this company for future needs
Excellent product and shipping.
I used the plates to splice two short 4 x 6s together to make four foot post. The plates worked perfectly and added an interesting detail.
Amazing craftsmanship! Perfect birthday gift
Airborne Master Parachutist Wings Personalized Metal Sign with Rank and Name
This our new garden area; we are calling it "the Final Frontier" because it is the last available space on our 1 acre. It has always been a field of a terrible invasive weed that has been hard to keep under control, let alone get rid of. But we did finally get it out. I designed the hard-scape and chose and planted the plants. We wanted all the things this type of setting should have: firepit, tree of life metal sculpture, fountain and windchimes. Your post cap is perfect at the top of the windchime post featuring a hummingbird, as the flowers will attract many.
I ordered 5 trotting horses in matte black. They are for a new fence along the side of my front yard. They look great!!!!

I ordered a rail panel to use as wall art. I ordered mine unfinished and will allow it to naturally rust to a beautiful patina. It is very well made with precise cuts and no sharp edges. It arrived quickly and well packaged. Very happy with my purchase!
